Japan Trip - Tokyo part1

My home town, Tokyo was the last destination of our trip. 

I took my Australian travel companions to Marunouchi area to do some shopping first. We then had a picnic lunch at the Imperial Palace. 

We spent the rest of afternoon in Ginza to do more shopping. By the end of the afternoon, they were all carrying shopping bags in both hands. I only could thank them for their contributions to the Japan's economy.

今回の旅の最後は、東京。

数年ぶりに丸の内に行ってみたが、スタイリッシュな店が沢山入ったビルが増えていて驚いた。

銀座は、その逆だった。以前なら秋葉原でしか見なかった様な電化製品の量販店や、一枚５００円のTシャツを売るような店が並んでいた。子供の頃は、ボタンが付いた余所行きの服を着て行く場所であったが、今は大分敷居が下がったように感じた。
